The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of different amounts of irrigation water or depth (full, supplementary and rainfed irrigation) on the productivity of two sweet potato varieties (Bophelo and Blesbok) in two production seasons (2021/ 2022 and 2022/2023). The experiment was conducted at the Instituto Superior Politécnico de Manica Farm, located in the administrative post of Matsinho, district of Vanduzi in Manica province, in an area composed of 18 plots of 20 m2, with a border of 20 m2 between plots. The parameters evaluated were, material productivity freshness of tubers, dry matter productivity of tubers, water use efficiency, harvest index, evapotranspiration and linear regression between dry matter productivity and water use, and the results showed significant differences at the level of 5% (p <0.05) probability. The results obtained showed that the Blesbok variety was the one that showed the best agronomic performance in all parameters evaluated in the two production seasons. Linear regression showed that the same variety presented greater efficiency in terms of water use and lower evapotranspiration, which resulted in increased productivity levels
